"She turned to the sunlight and shook her yellow head, And whispered to her neighbor: "Winter is dead." ~ A.A. Milne, When We Were Very Young
... Well, almost! I am excited that February is nearly over and all the changes in the air that March brings will soon be here. It is a bright and sunshiney Sunday here and the first of my forced flowering branches are swelling and starting to bloom inside. These are branches that needed to be pruned from my Yoshino cherry tree. I'll probably keep on forcing other branches into early bloom throughout March because I love having spring inside. :) My table aka the greenhouse area in my kitchen is getting a wee bit crowded with all the seeds I've been starting lately.

awesome......so pretty.

Oh how pretty! Did your tree already have buds or did it start to bud once you cut the branch and brought it inside? Maybe I could force some blooms from my crabapple tree. xo
