Major amounts of blue delphiniums were at my grocery store a few days ago ~ so pretty. Mine are unfortunately withering away though. I might have to pick up some more. I started some flower seeds indoors. I don't think I have ever been more eager for spring. On a side note, did you see the preview for the new Rachel Ashwell prairie book? I saw it on Facebook ~ swoon!

Your photos area always so inspring Lara...your header has me dreaming of spring ;o)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo. I'm eager for spring too.
ReplyDeleteI saw some hyacinth at our jewel. But they were a little costly and I did not know how long they would last.I hope by next week the price of roses will be back to normal 25.00 is a bit much for a little splurge of flowers.
ReplyDeleteEven though yours are wilting they still look pretty.A bit ruffled.I miss the sun we had yesterday :-(

I love delphiniums, they're so pretty! I tried growing them once, but it didn't go so well.
ReplyDeleteI am from the pacific nw and I have a delphinium plant that has been in my garden 31 yrs. and it comes from my mother's delphinium and that would make mine I believe 35 yrs. old if not older. It is blue.
