I am lounging and sipping a cafe out of a white porcelain cup. Two days of no sunlight here and that has been bringing me down a little. But, my paperwhites have opened up and brought some cheer to the kitchen! They are an acquired fragrance; not sure at first, but it has grown on me. I have some pottering around the house to do today so I can relax and enjoy the weekend. Wishes for a beautiful weekend full of what makes your heart skip a happy beat!
The sun is peeking out a bit around here today but yes pretty cloudy.Wow your paperwhites are blooming already! I have four that are ready and the others are not doing much of anything.Yes the fragrance is a little different.Not my favorite but they are so pretty.Hope you have a great weekend.

ReplyDeleteI was feeling down a bit myself but a ladybird and the first snowflakes cheered me up. The Paperwhites here are just starting to grow. I hope they'll bloom by Christmas. That would be wonderful. I love Paperwhites. Your picture is wonderful as always.

They look so pretty! A few of mine are just starting to bloom. I'm wondering if I should plant more now and perhaps they'd be ready between Christmas and New Year's. It snowed a little bit here yesterday...it's probably headed in your direction now. Hope you have a good weekend :)
