Cheers to a New Year!

Here we are again...at the end of another year. A time to think about where we have been, what we have done, and now what's ahead.

Despite, the vanishing daylight, I wanted to make some pretty photos for you today! Just some little trinkets and my fading Christmas cream roses that are almost gone.

I am cat sitting my in-law's kitty this week - Tossy. He is a big boned kitty and feels like a big, soft, warm, furry teddy bear in my arms. :)

2012 wasn't bad. We were all healthy. We kept positive, kept happy, and we got to travel to the Florida Keys. Mostly, it was a year enjoying our little ones - we sent our baby off to school for the first time, new friends were made, loose teeth and new teeth, learning, and loving. For myself, I turned 39. I appreciated all the little moments in life and they made me smile. I took up the hobby of bird watching after installing a bird feeding station in my front yard. I fed and I watched the morning birds through my kitchen windows. And they came - woodpeckers, chickadees, goldfinhes, and blue jays. Blue jays love peanuts and will return daily for their fix.

Now I sit on the evening of the start of 2013... feeling blessed for all the things the Lord has brought into my life.
