A Little Christmas Pink

Greetings sweetest friends! We need to start doing our Christmas shopping this week, but I will shamelessly admit to going antiquing every weekend for the past few. I can't help it - I love the nostalgia of old timer Christmas decorations! ;) I could easily look all day. I found a full box of lovely, timeworn vintage pink baubles and now love seeing the addition of the palest petal pink on my tree. I also found two of those tartlette forms in the above photo, and they are vintage French to boot! Score! I took some pictures of my daughter in her new pink sweater. She wants to paint her room pink.

I have decided to watermark all of my images now. I have found one too many of my images on Pinterest only to be credited to somebodies Tumblr as the link back to. At least with a watermark, you can see the original source of the photos creation. :) I have also increased my text size on my blog - just in time for that new Mini I Pad. I hope that it is easily readable for you. I know I have the hardest time reading tiny words. Speaking of Pinterest, I finally put together some inspiration boards on there...

You are welcome to follow me on Pinterest!

I also wanted to say thank you for your wonderful words and continued support of my little blog! It means so much to me! So thank you dearly for that.

  4. Your photos are Gorgeous, Gorgeous Lara!!! And your daughter looks simply beautiful in her new pink sweater!
And don't feel too bad, I haven't started my Christmas shopping either, hopefully in the next couple of days:)
I don't blame you for watermarking your photos, they are too beautiful to be floating around without your name on them. I can never understand why people take credit for others art.
    Wishing you a lovely day.
    Sincerely,
    Melinda

  8. Lara, everytime I come here, you stun me with how beautiful your photos are! I completely understand why you want your own name on them. I need to tell you again how beautiful your daughter is...she has the most expressive eyes. I love your touches of pink and I haven't done a bit of shopping either. I may just bake everyone a pie...not sure that will go over with the boys but for everyone else, maybe so.
Enjoy the rest of your week! I wish you the happiest Christmas. xo

  9. Sweet photo of your daughter Lara! My daughter is now a teen and she still loves pink.Although most girls seem to shy away from that color by the age of 10 don't know why.I still like it!

  10. Lara, your blog is so beautiful! That photo of the perfectly-vintage-pink ornaments in the tart tin is perfection. Your sweet daughter is adorable. I love to see all your Christmas touches in your home - makes me want to run out and get some more Juniper branches from my shrub. :)
