Today is a gloomy day, with continuous drizzling rain, but that didn't stop me from doing a little mini photography practice.
I am liking the 4 large windows in my kitchen eating area for taking closeup photos.
Bosc pears are in season right now, so I thought they would be a fun subject to both photograph and eat.
I found the antique wooden compote at an antique shop and painted it white - a pretty way to display pears.
I've been planting bulbs for the past 2 days. I am so sore all over! I put too much pressure on my muscles using the hand-held bulb planter. Perhaps a long handle one would've prevented muscle aches.
I can't wait to see when all the bulbs shoot up in spring.
I'm still working on my fall front door.
but, here's a little peek...

It sounds strange to say beautiful pears, but they really are. I bought a similar wooden compote at a garage sale and painted it turquoise. It's great to throw things in.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful compositions, Lara. I love that second photo of the pears on the rustic wood...they go so well together.
ReplyDeletePretty as always, Lara! Quite the change in the weather for you, too, huh? :)
