They're dark, sweet, juicy, and they are very summer.
Sweet dark cherries are at in-season prices at the markets, and they are delicious.
Here I have them with the vintage enamelware set I picked up at the flea market this weekend. I got the entire set for $25.
I'll be snacking on cherries all this week.
How about you? What is your favorite summer fruit?

The tart tins are too cute and I can't believe you bought that entire enamel set for that price and the set is beautiful =) Xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteI am SO jealous!

LOVE your photos Lara~ my fave fruit is watermelon!! xo Rachel
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous photos! I am such a huge cherry fan. I probably just ate my first "fresh" cherry a year ago. I use to think they all tasted like maraschino cherries. Fresh cherries can't be beat! I love them even more when they go on sale. Just found out Mr. Blue Eyed Yonder might be mildly allergic to them. His throat gets scratchy each time he eats them. Oh well, more for me! :-)
ReplyDeleteGordeous photos Lara!

Since I'm a neighbor in nearby Northern Michigan, cherries are grown here and are our favorites too! Love your flea market finds. If you get a chance stop by and see our recent vintage finds. Love your blog.
ReplyDeleteLara, I like your photographs collection. My grandmother likes to make blackberry jam, blackberry cobbler, blackberry lemonade, and many more recipes of blackberry.
ReplyDeleteOh, you lucky girl, those are some great finds. I'm really in love with those little tart tins. I just saw a photo of a wire basket filled to the brim with different tart tins and thought that they would make such a pretty collection. Your photos are looking as beautiful as ever.
