It's a truly gorgeous Spring day today! I took some photos today while having my morning coffee. I recently made my first order from Maria's wonderful Dreamy Whites shop. I purchased a French wire basket that included French linen lavender-filled pillows; they are amazing!
I ordered the basket for my entryway decorating project I am working on; photos coming soon.
I think this French basket is wonderful for giving the space a French country look. I ordered an arched, weathered window pane from Wisteria to put up over my grey console. Still waiting for Wisteria to ship it. For now, I just added this narrow window pane that I found last year & painted white..
I almost didn't do another another post this week. I have been spending every free moment working on my front garden; I've been working hard! We are extending our front garden bed to wrap around the house and that means I have been doing lots of tiling. We have clay type soil and I have been working in peat moss to try to improve the soil quality. I am "fixing" the work my husband started; let's just say he has a lack of an aesthetic plan. ;) When I finish the front, I am going to widen the backyard veggie patch. I am also going to add a white fence around it - a little Peter Rabbit inspiration from Mr. McGregor's garden {on a small scale} there.
We are taking the kids to see the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie tomorrow.. my 5 year old son has quite the obsession with pirate toys right now!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Lara
I am linking this up to Tricia's Photo Feature Friday over at A Rosy Note
&
For my photo processing, I just increased the exposure a little & used Tri-X 400 (faded in color) in curves. I also tried to flood my first floor with as much natural light as possible, including opening up the front door since I was right by it.

Beautiful photos Lara~ I LOVE your new basket from Dreamy Whites~ I have some of those lavender pillows and love them too!! Hugs,Rachel
