We spent part of the day outdoors today enjoying the early spring weather. It is so nice to have the kids outside and running around again. They wiped out before bedtime.
These photos are taken in our backyard.
We have lots of prairie vegetation.
My 4 year old daughter insists on dressing herself {about 2 times a day}, but I don't think she has mastered fashion coordination quite yet. :) And she is already styling her bedroom.
My children were born 15 months apart from one another. My boy is 5 years old and my little girl is 4. My son was a hospital birth with every med imaginable and my daughter was a natural water birth. Their personalities are complete yin and yang; my daughter's sensitive, shy and very sweet, while my son is tough as nails and very outgoing.
It's like having twins. They keep me busy.

Those are my two.. that make life a little sweeter everyday.

Your kids sure are cute Lara, I didn't know they were so close in age. My daughter is four too so I completely understand the part about your daughter dressing herself more that once a day...mine is constantly changing clothes and then leaving them all over the floor!
ReplyDeleteThanks for adding my button to your page :)

I come here and just ooo and aaahhh over your photos. What sweet kids. My grandbabies are 11 months apart!
ReplyDeleteI would love to know where you and A Rosy Note got the cute little bowls that appeared on her sideboard and in some of your photos.
Such pretty photos! The love for you children and their curiosity shines through. I love that you are able to get outside and explore with them. I grew up looking for tadpoles in ponds and loved every minute of that kind of childhood. Children need to be connected to nature!
