French Laundry

We have 14 lavender plants. I always enjoy harvesting their little buds.

I seal some buds up in a mason jar just for smelling all winter long.

The lavender dryer sachets are from Trader Joe's. They smell incredible. Really nice to toss in with your blankets and comforters.

Driving down the road, I found myself glancing out the window at the abundance of queen anne's lace.

Captivated by their delicate beauty, I became inspired to photograph them.

They signal late summer's arrival.
