This week is flying by fast. I can't believe Christmas is right around the corner.
Today I am sharing the lovely ruffled bag I won from Secret Garden Cottage and Lavender Fields Home Boutique a few weeks back.
Thank you so much Jo and Lori. And Lori, I adored the scent of the lavender sachet you included; it's now lovingly stored in a dresser drawer. I am loving it very much and it is perfect for me since I love white. It has already been used as a nice weekend away bag and washed on delicate cycle to give it that soft and fluffy feel.
Here I am taking a peek photo from my kitchen door way out at a corner of the entryway, which has been cleaned of kid's coats, boots and the like. So, definitely not real life here.. though this is the way I wished my home looked all the time... clean-looking and uncluttered... and of course, candles were not lit for the sake of safety...
We have a full scheduled weekend: buy back text book day at the college, gift shopping, appointments, meet up with sister-in-law with her truck at Ikea so we can get our new kitchen table and chairs.. amongst many other things. Busy, busy. It's only Wednesday and I'm thinking about the weekend already knowing that it will be a whirlwind... so I am preparing myself to remember to breathe already. I'll bet you have a crazy filled weekend schedule, too... what's on it?

I'm so glad you like the bag, Lara. It looks beautiful displayed on the hook rack! It would be wonderful if our lives could be mess-free all the time, wouldn't it? In a perfect world... :)
ReplyDeleteYour week sounds even more hectic than mine... can't wait for the weekend, too!
xoxo,
Jo :)
It's nice to know that I'm not the only one out there who sometimes has to completely declutter an area of the house to take a photo, only to dream about how lovely it would be if it actually looked like that all the time. I'm working on it though. It's my goal for the new year - a clutter-free home!
ReplyDeleteThe bag looks lovely!

ReplyDeleteYou cannot go wrong with ruffles. :-)

So serene and beautiful. Your so lucky to live near an ikea...when we lived in California, I loved shopping there. Hopefully in a few months hubby and I will take a 5 hour drive (one way) to buy a new sofa at ikea...that'll be a long day as we plan to go there buy the sofa and come back all in one day...yikes

No, I don't have an online shop. I am thinking about maybe opening one in Spring though... inspiration still needs to meet my mind and heart more with time. ;)
Pam~
I didn't edit that particular pic in Sepia.. I take a lot of my photos down to grey/B & W tones scale in "color" and then fade in color.. that particular one does look very Sepia.. must of been lighting.. not sure how it happened.
Welcome to the new followers! : ♥)
