I hope your week is going along nicely with lots of warm and cozy moments. It's freezing here, so I am trying to keep snugly warm inside. My final composition paper is written and submitted for grading, therefor... I am beaming with happiness and relief. What better way to celebrate a little free time, then to share a little holiday spirit... we are going to be a little late with the tree this year... life has been busy... but that's okay... I'm just keeping in mind the reason for the season & holding it close to my heart...
A little red sweater gracing my baby pine...
and a little Christmasy coffee ornament to warm up a curvilinear corner.
And upon dragging out some mini lights and plugging them in, I couldn't help but admire their beauty as is... so I grabbed an old milk pail, and a little natural window light and thus my admiration turned into a...
bucket of...

My mind is thinking very artsy these days while being at the beginning of exploring photography... and growing very passionate... and... attune to seeing the world with an artistic eye. Speaking of artistic... today I am loving this shared link on making paper stars from Cherry Blossom... check it out... cute stuff!

Thank you so much for your sweet comments, and for linking.

Hi Lara...It is looking like Christmas there. I am glad that your paper is done and submitted. That is always a relief. Hugs-Diana
ReplyDeleteLara, All I can say is *sigh* to your new wintry blog banner. Everything about it says 'calm'. I have done the same as you this year...with lights in the buckets(but mine are white). Only two of our six tiny trees has lights on this year...the rest of the lights are in buckets and that green iron floral stand(the one I had white pumpkins in that you liked). Your photography is gorgeous. Someday I hope to have a better camera to capture such beauty. ox`kerrie
ReplyDeleteYour new header is beautiful. Creative idea of "bucket of light!" I did white lights on my tree this year but kinda regret it~ now I want colored ones!! Next year!! ;-)
