I just got done making & eating a big pot of vegetarian chili; now it's time for me to have some playtime! Today I ran around outside my place and took a few pictures of summer outdoor life before the seasons turn over. Fall weather really comes with a vengeance here in Illinois and in a few weeks it usually is the time for falling, crunching leaves.
Forgotten tomatoes in a vegetable patch..
Basil still fresh..
Old pots stacked in my garage waiting for next year..
Lavender plants all bundled up in new mulch..

Pretty things before the winter sets in and it's all so pretty, Lara. I can almost smell that beautiful basil, it's lovely. I'm sure your rooms are lovely, we put a lot of pressure on ourselves to get things just right, don't we? I know it will be great.

ReplyDeleteOh no! Summer is not allowed to leave...I love summer herbs...Goodbye, summer. Hello, fall.
ReplyDeletei can't believe it's this time of year already. i spent some time outdoors yesterday putting summer stuff away and revamping some outdoor vignettes. i need to take some photos tomorrow. i love your lavender. i should try and grow some of that. have a great evening.
ReplyDeleteLara,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit, and comments are dear to me. Your beautiful bits of beauty speak volumes, no need to show the whole room, and if you did I am sure it is charming. Your lavender beds look to be tucked away to bed for winter. I am really looking forward to a major cool down, tired of California heat :)
See you soon
stay inspired by the simple things in life.
