Framboises Sur La Chaise

framboises sur la chaise

Some summertime beauty..
a scruffy white vintage chair
a simple white batter bowl
some fresh, plump framboises

Doesn't the french word for raspberries sound so pretty? I think so.

  1. Beautiful framboises!
All my high school French is rushing back to me now!

You seem crazy busy, so I'm not at all surprised that you feel stressed out. There's a lot on your plate right now, and it's not just raspberries!

    Hugs,
    Anne

White paint is my go-to. My husband thinks I am crazy when I paint everything white, but now I show him that I am not alone!!

  6. Lara aka Lala! Gorgeous pics of my favorite fruit! Our Costco has been having the double size organics lately and I, too have been stocking up on these beauties. Your photos are just amazing and I love that chair, too. I hope you had a chance to sit in {any!} chair and catch your breath this weekend! xx Suzanne

  8. Thanks for stopping by and following. :) I love your post. Sometimes the simple things really are the most beautiful. I grew up with French, living in Canada-5 yrs of it was mandatory. I am so glad now that I took it because anything written in French so much more elegant.

By the way, growing up my little brother could not say my name-perhaps it was the 'r' that was the problem. He used to call me 'LaLa' too! My parents called me Karly so it later became 'La-Lee'. ;)

    Warmly,
    Karla
